Sorry about welcome email

Hello everyone,

This morning you probably received a welcome email, even if you have been a user for many months.

I am very sorry about that. You have not been re-subscribed to any lists (just one main user list), and your account is safe.

I was using a new email software, and I did over a dozen dry runs, I quadruple checked my settings... multiple times. I honestly have no idea what happened when I did the import, but I had no intentions of spamming you. It triggered the autoresponder which should have ignored all users older than 1 hour old.

Thanks for your patience, and I hope you enjoy your Saturday.

Thanks guys. I'm using mailchimp. It was that or mailgun, but I kind of liked the simplicity of mailchimp as I'm not doing insane emailing. I'm thinking soon I'll add a feature to email you the top 5-10 resources for the week, if that interests people.

Pretty sure I suggested that to you a few months back, it would be stupid not to, tbh. 10 top resources mailed each Friday would ensure repeat visitors.

Have it enabled by default (Facebook style) then give us an option to disable it if required.

Would definitely help keep this place more active.

Yeah I believe you did, but my time was spent adding buckets. Now that emailing is in place that won't be hard.

And of course wsg, I would never make it so you couldn't.

I was wondering what that was all about.

Yays and stuff for new software doing things you don't expect it to...

I like the idea for the weekly updates. I can't always visit the site and that would help..
