Hahaha too funny. I think the reason it happens is because it strips out the url params to make a canonical url so that a submission foo.com/?bar will be the same as foo.com... maybe a fix for this will come in the next update or so ;-)

Lol touche. Its actually to prevent duplicate URL's, but yes.. youtube is kind of annoying in that regard. I've just been changing people's links to youtu.be/idofvideo
