I don't see how it is useful. Even Python 2 is not translatable in every case to Python 3 without deeply thinking about the code. If the same language, with two different versions cannot work, how could it work between totally different languages?

lib2to3 was created to help you migrate between Pythons. Do you think it is useful? VaryCode was created for the same reasons. It helps you, it saves your time and energy, it automates boring tasks. Of course it is not an AI and you should check it's output, but I think you will be surprised with the results of conversions in many cases.
