This tutorial is for developers transitioning to iOS that don’t want to deal with Storyboarding or Interface Builder. It implements the “Hello World” app from Apple’s documentation entirely in code.

I saw this on HN and never clicked it because the title is so bad. But tutorial is good, i'm glad someone clicked it :)

Well it's a good job I am your minion then.

It's a shame most objective-c tutorials seem to be "Hello World" apps.

The best objective C thing I've seen ever is here: https://tutsplus.com/course/programming-in-objective-c-2/

The guy hits a home run compared to all other Nettuts courses I think, its over 10+ hours and he's very easy to listen to (no 'ummm' or stuttering or heavy breathing in between eating doritos and mountain dew).

Nice, it's by Bryan Jones. I admire the way he writes his copy on his sites so I might check it out.

The Tuts+ Premium stuff seems to be incredibly dull for a lot of the stuff.

Where else do you know him from?

I remember checking out CodeKit/Less.app last year and he had some hilarious commentary for instance:

"The only thing easier is making fun of Internet Explorer".

We need more bold statements like this in this industry.
